Whisperling

by Oliver Lipton

A dark, whimsical fairytale of growing up in America in the 21st Century

Now Streaming

Whisperling is the story of Quinn Bell, a young girl who’s more comfortable speaking to the faeries she sees around her than to other humans. When her friend is accused of arson, and the faerie village outside her window is attacked by a mysterious horror, she struggles to respond. It’s all too much for one kid, and the spirit inhabiting her fox plush, to handle.

Eva Kantor - Pumpkin

Eva holds a BFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and currently trains on-camera with Matt Newton Acting Studio.

Her career began in musical theatre playing frenetically delightful roles such as Penny in Hairspray opposite Broadway’s Jay Johnson and Marissa Perry, and the title role in Anne of Green Gables. A natural chameleon, those who know Eva best as a kind, gentle, and nurturing spirit are often surprised by her ability to transform into powerful, magnetic figures on stage and screen. Eva expanded her toolkit to include voiceover, narrating books for Audible and Brilliance Audio, as well as lending her voice to commercials, scripted podcasts and animated projects. When she isn’t acting, Eva is busy writing her own content (she currently has a short film about motherhood and a musical dramedy pilot she co-wrote with her father in the works), creating music with her husband, Jonathan, and raising her two energetic boys (the best teachers in play anyone could imagine).

Rook Mogavero - Tour Guide

Rook is very excited to be a part of Whisperling! They graduated Swarthmore College in 2020 with a BA in theater, which feels the punchline to a bad joke at this point. After graduation, they moved back home to New York, where they've been doing a little Zoom theater and listening to a lot of podcasts. You can find them on Twitter @CorvidCastle12 to hear about what they're doing next, and to read more of their bad jokes.

Alexandria Nohalty - Production Assistant

Alexandria Nohalty is our amazing production assistant for Whisperling, who finds it ironic that she is typing and posting about herself in third person . Once a midwest transplant in NYC, Alexandria once again finds herself back in the midwest (thanks 2020!) Working on this project has brought her so much joy and re-ignited the passion she has missed dearly for her love of all that is media. One day Alexandria hopes to become a producer, until then she is honored to have been working with such talented voice actors, artist, and of course the creator himself, Oliver, on this magical podcast series.
